As a Comms Designer, I need accurate representations of UI in the app, on tap to allow me to pivot between
multiple campaigns and internal presentations.
Marketplace Toolkits is born providing a set of templates to aid in building Marketplace surfaces faster

Marketplace hits 1 billion users. New features everywhere and things were... getting out of hand system wise.
I co-lead Marketplace Product Systems to create written and illustrated standards for common surfaces like,
feed, search, seller profile, product description page, and listing composer.

Deep in the pandemic, the landscape is changing, new competition emerges, and Facebook has transitioned to Meta.
Positioned on a brand new team with the sole purpose of building an entire design system that is robust enough to
be competitive with the largest companies out there, easily and cheaply updated, and flexible enough to cover the
needs of our users wherever they go in the app.
Today
Blueprint is the largest code backed design system at Meta. In 2 years a brand new team brought design file adoption
in the app from 3% of surfaces to 82% by the end of 2024. Containing more than 40m instances in over 80% of our
designers files; Blueprint is comprised of 113 visible components in our design catalog, maintained in Figma and code
backed through Figma’s Code Connect API
